The labor a pet parent has to do in order to train his/her pets is NOT easy, especially around kids and training them to not be in the kitchen when cooking. But I know the efforts I put in to take care of my lovely little spaniel right from the day I had my eyes on it – and that was long time ago. It fills me with immense nostalgia when I rewind the day it got its vaccination course or the cold night I stormed at this poor soul for rushing out of the house.
This little baby soon got my attention as it turned out to be very playful and cute. I mean, yeah, my spaniel was so cute in all it did. It was the way it sniffed on its food or that face it made when I got angry at it. And oh my, the day I got its soft fur trimmed was the day I witnessed the cutest living thing alive: my stylish, chic, little spaniel with an almost French hairdo and lean muscles.
I spend a considerable amount of time of the day with my baby. We love playing catch, shopping and walking the street. My spaniel is very conscious about diet and that goes to show how similar we are in our priorities. Due to its selective food liking, it has faced many difficulties with digestion. Thanks to the liver supplement called Denamarin that I add to her food, and my spaniel never complains of digestion issues since the day I started using it. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a pet with similar issues, great resource here.
Because I keep a pet, I have to not only take care of it, but also stay thoughtful about keeping it happy and healthy. My dog is very moody – so keeping it happy is the secret to keeping myself happy too. I am so attached to this little being after all. You can never underestimate the reckless attitude of pets if they are having a good day (with good digestion to keep them from feeling down). Whatever it may be, I love the time spent with my spaniel and he loves his momma. Who doesn’t?
Well, I admit that there are times I get fed up of his constant pleas of going out for a jog or bathing it in warm soapy water (that it so enjoys in the mornings), but who am I kidding? I love my dog anyway. It has stayed with me through the thick and thin, and so have I. Well well, I’m getting nostalgic again.
